EXCITING NEWS FROM THE YV LIBRARY!

Introducing UC Berkeley Lending Services

What’s so incredible about this?

Ygnacio Valley High School Library is currently the first and only school in the Mt. Diablo Unified School District to have lending privileges from UC Berkeley Libraries!

What is it?

  • A pilot program between UC Berkeley and Ygnacio Valley High School Library
  • Interlibrary Loan services for YV students and staff
  • Free resources from the UCB Libraries, including book lending (Library use only) and article copying services

How does it work?

  1. Search for books and articles using UCB Library catalog Oskicat here: http://oskicat.berkeley.edu/
  2. Fill out a request form: Hard copies in the library or digital version here https://goo.gl/forms/BTaXKnIGjdqfc2kV2
  3. The YV Library will let you know via email that your item has arrived.
  4. Books are non-circulating, meaning they are in-library use only and can be held at YV for 2 months.
  5. Articles will be held for pickup in the library.
